Upcoming 1b Event (discuss)

Hi,

we 'll be doing a 1b+ event in the near future. Discuss what kind of event it should be? Drop Party, Trivias, Tournaments whatever.

I'm going to do a 150m giveaway soon, consists of 3 ideas. You can attend and see if it's good.

I'd say you split it up into 4 parts for 250m each.

-250m CoraPS Clan War Event

I think a good majority of it should be in the IRC is trivia/dice tournament.  Not just giveaways in the bot where you could be afk.  The bottom line is people flock towards these sorts of things and if the clan could successfully gain some members then it would be worth it and also with having a dice tourny it would force/instruct new people to figuring out how the irc works and hopefully get them more comfortable with.

Split the 1b up between timezones fairly and let the timezones Hosts/betters decide.

So eg like 500m for American 250m for euro and 250m Australasian.

No they aren't fine, where's the fun about competing vs google or auto clickers?

I'd say we do a runescape event, where some hosts dresses as zombies whlile other players run away in the city of varrock, if a zombie trades the person 3 times, he turns into a zombie, the last one standing will receive 200-150m. Note this should be done on runescape.

Another idea done on the private server, is treasure trials. For example, 4 people spread all over the PS, with certain items. Participants will be given the first clue in the Friendschat, and then they figure out the clue (which will be an anagram of a place). Then go to the person, trade him then he will receive a pm of the next clue. Rewards should be between 200m-150m(can do it 3 times, so 50m per round) because it actually requires skill. This is Hide n seek with style.

Trivia on runescape, to prevent ping. 2.5m per question with a total of 100m. (40 questions)


IRC dice Tourney and Flower poker ps Tourney, well organized with brackets. 150m share for each, so 50m (split 30m 15m 5m) each round, so 6 rounds on FP + irc dice.

Last but not least, 300-500m drop party, split 350/250m in p2p and 150m on f2p.

Now I would really like to attend an event full of new games, which is 100% pure fun, and some requires skill.

It's Andy's decision to make it all in one day, or split it 3/4 days. one per event.

Thoughts?

I say 100m trivia, 100m hide and seek, 250m drop party, 25 x 10m random.org random picking,Then give 100m to 3 hosts, and they get to pick what they want.

V. Cora Poker: Free rolls but not the traditional free rolls that occur every 15 minutes or a trivia in the chatbox (albeit the poker chatbox is VERY small) (I'm not totally sure about this but feel free to improve ) 

VI. Lastly, the forum chatbox. Normal trivia with the same subjects mentioned above. For example, a host could say hints in the ChatBox and people would have to find them or spam trade them in-game.

Thanks for considering my ideas! I tried to make them unique and different from the normal ideas and input that you've been getting. I feel like if you did these it would improve the clan greatly and hopefully bring more activity to the Private Server, IRC, Cora Minecraft, and Cora Poker because as of late not many people have been visiting those and view them as dead content. I might add more later. 

EDIT: I totally forgot at MineCraft.

VII. Cora Minecraft - PVP, killing players, mining credits. I haven't been on so I don't know all of the activities you could do for prizes there.

the purpose of this giveaway is to bring new people to the clan, how can you suggest doing a drop party with no advertisement in w2/w3.

1.do a promo video before the giveaway
2. use three of different ways to giveaway money - irc,runescape,forum
3. runescape: 400m irc: 300m forum: 300m (runescape is biggest because we want the biggest croud)
4. Runescape - drop party 200m/H&S 100m/Trivia 100m
5.Irc: do three different tournaments using different games dice/blackjack/other each is 100m
6. Forum: do 2 giveaways, 1 giveaway for loyal cora players 1+ year, and another giveaway for all forum joiners, each is 150m.

Idk what idea it should be.. I'm not that experiment at stufff like that but let it include traveling around the rs, the most known spots or u know wut, even the random areas.. Especially the skilling areas. Many skillers never heard of Cora dyce both clan and forums.
