So my Friend and I have known each other for a good 8 months, He knew at the start of the 8 months of this Girl I liked. (He's 17, Im 16, the girl I like is 17). He obviously has forgotten that I liked her and he randomly comes up to me one day and is like, yeah I like *Aura* (Thats her name). I was like. so flat faced. What do I do now?

If you are too weak tell your friend about your love to her, you are probably also weak to talk to your crush.

Aura doesn't know that he likes her. I told Aura quite a long time ago, she said some stuff, to personal so i won't mention here. But this guy has only known her for like 3 weeks.

There is no way he could forget you like her..he just can't...since it is the same girl. Make your move first, show him who the dominant male is.

Dude 8 months is quite along time, and if you already told her a long time ago, and she hasn't done anything about it. I think you should just let it go, cause that obviously shows she's not interested, but if you really believe that there is even a small chance of her liking you, then you should ask her out because you'll regret it hard later. As for your friend, you can either do one of these two things
1. Talk to him before you ask her out, and try to understand with him, i'm sure he'll remember and if he's a good friend he'll get it and back off.
2. Ask Aura out and then see what happens later on, if he says something like "dude how could you, i told you i like her" Then you should say that you told him the same awhile back, and you know , just talk to that kid. xD

ooo that's an awkward situation. Confront your friend asking why he's saying that after you've told him that you like her. Then make your move on Aura pretty quickly before he gets the chance. If you're already a thing then he's got no chance.

Well now there's a sense of urgency. Harness that urgency to motivate you to make your move now. If she's not interested now, then she never will be so you might as well.

Jaycubb, if you have already made a move and it failed, I guess it's time to move on. Just give your friend a stab at it and find another girl. I know you have heard this many times before but I'll say it again: There are plenty of fish in the sea. I remember the first girl I met and I was worried about letting her ago but ultimately, she left and I was depressed. But guess what? Since then, I have met 2 other girls who I thought would be a perfect fit for me; and I'm sure I'll find more (just as you will as well )
