It gives you a notification for every topic you viewed? It should be just the ones you post on

And you get a separate notification for each person that posted on a topic you viewed, should just get it once.

Yeah but you set it to that. I want it set so that I get a notification of every time someone posts on a thread that i've posted on, which isn't an option.
Also that if more than one person has posted on a thread I posted on , I only get ONE notification for that.

why did you make a topic asking how to do something that you yourself have said isn't possible? As talented as I am, I can't make the impossible possible.

I didn't make a topic asking how to do something? The topic isn't even a question. it's a problem that should be fixed. the notification button needs working on.

    Hi.

Slash wrote:It gives you a notification for every topic you viewed?
No, just the ones you're watching. You watch a topic by posting on it or actually choosing the option to at the bottom of the page. You can unwatch them by clicking the same thing or:
    http://www.coradyce.com/search?search_id=watchsearch
    http://www.coradyce.com/search?search_id=watchsearch&search_where=f82
and changing f82 at the end to a specific forum.

Watching a forum itself won't procure any notifications of unwatched threads, so that isn't your problem either.

Slash wrote:And you get a separate notification for each person that posted on a topic you viewed, should just get it once.
That's what email is for; it only notifies you once of new replies in a topic until you view it again. Notifications are for everything. I guess it's useful if you're looking for a specific person's reply or just ignoring all the spammers and it's not really hard to click the big red 'x'. If you're that bothered, make a suggestion for it to be an option in the official forumotion forum.
