Is there any way to cancel them; I don't want to receive a mail everytime some one posts below my response/topic. I got nothing against it but would be nice if I could cancel that hehe

When someone responses to me I receive alert saying "New message from Cora Dyce."

To fix it you should
Click on Profile on the top row.
Then go to preferences and go down to Always notify me of replies : Yes No
And switch that to No.
That should fix it.

I am pretty sure when you write on a thread there is a tick box at the bottom which means you can choose whether you are notified when people reply or not.
