This isn't just you. Because our forum background is white, our default text colour is white to show up on the background. Forummotion introduced a new text box to write on forum which also has a white background, so our text doesn't show up on the background.

Derp.
When you are in the 'post a reply' screen then there is this white paper button thingy with black lines. It's the last icon, just click it and you're fine.

Yeah, and all you have to do is to press that small little button so you can see what you write.
