If you mean how do you actually take the screenshot; in Microsoft, you press the 'print screen' button to take a shot of the whole screen, or alt + print screen to take a shot of currently selected window (e.g. just Chrome or IE). Then, you open up paint and paste the image there. Make any changes you would like, otherwise, just save the image onto your computer.
Next, to upload the photo onto the forums, click 'host an image' (the first option in the fifth section along the top of the reply box). It's pretty self-explanatory from there: choose the file or paste the url, resize if you wish and click host it. Now, choose the second link it provides and paste this into the reply box. Make any edits to your text you would like before posting.

Glad you could find your own way out.
Just in case you're still wondering about HyperCam and stuff:
HyperCam is a piece of software by Hyperionics that can capture footage from your Windows screen and save it as an avi file. Not what you're looking for, I think. Although they've made it free now, I'd still go for Fraps.
They do have another piece of software called HyperSnap which does exactly what you're looking for; http://www.hyperionics.com/
If you want the high-end of screen capture tools (only for photos), you may want to take a look at Snagit from the makers of Camtasia Studio (http://www.techsmith.com/snagit.html). I've used it a couple of times and it's pretty good, however, you do have to pay £37 for it if you aren't prepared to torrent.

Re: <<<<<Posting up screenshots>>>>>
you don't need that for print screens. Just click the button on your keyboard that says "print screen". If you don't have that button go to accessories -> accessibility -> on-screen keyboard. From the on screen keyboard, you can click the "psc" buttonSkiiLLz wrote:Rand al'Thor wrote:Glad you could find your own way out.

Don't mess with all that, just download swiftkit and take screenshots via that. The uploading speed takes literally 2 seconds and you have the link for that specific picture. Also, swiftkit is jam packed full of useful things ... Even the IRC and game browser if you want the download link i can give it to you. It's safe. Download it from this page : http://www.swiftkit.net/

HyperCam and HyperCam 2 do the same thing; capture on-screen footage and save it as a video. The latter is just an updated version.

If you wanted to share images online then I'd recommend gyazo:
https://gyazo.com/en
You click the icon then select the region you want to create an image of. It then automatically uploads it to your gyazo profile which you can then choose to share. Your profile is by default hidden from other users.
