maths help

((Root of (x +7))-3)÷(x-2)

limit as x approaches 2. Solve. By some ingenious methods i found the answer to be 1/6. Found that by subbing in 1.99999 instead of 2

I need the working please help the proper working

Do you know L'Hopital's rule, if so: the limit becomes: 1/2 (x+2)^(-1/2)/1

now, setting x=7 you get 1/2 x 1/sqrt(9) =1/2 x 1/3 = 1/6

May of had a typo, but the answer is 1/6, enjoy.

multiply the thing with root(x+7) + 3 / root(x+7) + 3
You'll get-
lim x+7-9
x-)2 -------------------
x-2 (root (x+7) +3)

=) Lim x-2
x-)2 -------------------
x-2 (root(x+7) + 3)

=) lim 1
x-)2 ------------
root(x+7) + 3
= 1/root(2+7) + 3
=1/6
