Clan requirements and moving up

Hi

Im new here, so I don't expect to even be considered for hosting or to be put under any trials yet.
What im interested in is joining the clan, so I can support it and begin to spread the good news about the legitimacy of this group.
I am highly active on RS and many forums, so bringing in people wouldn't be hard.

So may i ask:

Are only hosts allowed to be clan members?

How would I go about proving that my intentions are good and legit to one of the owners, without looking like a tool?

I have thought about a clan for people that are betting? Would be a great community too.

Yep, great idea Would really look good with lots of people wearing the same cape.

Yeah that would be awsome. you sould let someone have the clan and clan cape designer.
