Mojang has updated minecraft to minecraft 1.8 with a whole slew of new features!

Ofcourse this means Bukkit (http://bukkit.org) has to update some things in order for all of the useful plugins to remain functional.

However, Bukkit has recently been hit with a DCMA warning seen here:

This is pausing the production of the latest bukkit that will enable us to use all of the great new features on Minecraft 1.8 as well as the great features our Bukkit plugins give us - Like the ability to register your account on servers that allow cracked clients. Pausing the production of this sucks. It means we will be stuck on 1.7.10 until Bukkit is done resolving their conflicts. Which is why I put our server to the latest Minecraft 1.8 without bukkit (temporarily) at server: coramc.com

There are some other potential options in case Bukkit decides to die (or force to die due to legal reasons) such as : www.glowstone.net

til l8r, hopefully bukkit can continue to work alongside Mojang so we can use the plugins/features that are so detrimental to many minecraft servers.
