After months of saving....
I have finally achieved my goal for a suitable amount of money to go to a dealership and find myself a nice 2011 or 2012 Ram 1500 truck. I was debating on a BMW X5, but I've learned from experience that BMWs are very expensive to fix and the insurance prices are ridiculous. I will do my best to post pictures of the vehicles I looked at!

Thanks! I'm actually super excited. I'm not quite sure if I'll find anything tomorrow but it's definitely worth looking.Tunechi wrote:Gratz on the achievement

Yeah, Mercedes do suck. My mom and dad have Mercedes Benz CLAs, and break all the time. My mom also crashed her car and ended up paying $3,000 for repairs. Gz on your car

I do love luxury cars and SUVs... But... As you also just said, luxury cats cost a lot to fix and break all the time...Co wrote:Yeah, Mercedes do suck. My mom and dad have Mercedes Benz CLAs, and break all the time. My mom also crashed her car and ended up paying $3,000 for repairs. Gz on your car
And no I don't have the vehicle yet. As I have mentioned in the topic, I will be looking tomorrow. Haha.

Seeing as this post can be read in different ways, I'll have to side with the assumption that this is meant to be a negative post somehow making fun that I am apparently incapable of making decisions. Sorry, just by how you usually post in response to any of my threads, that's just what I'm guessing it was meant to sound like. Feel free to prove me wrong.Lelz wrote:Woah, was that a decision you just made?

You need to expect sarcasm/humor on this forums, do you expect us to be all serious the whole time.Connorr wrote:Seeing as this post can be read in different ways, I'll have to side with the assumption that this is meant to be a negative post somehow making fun that I am apparently incapable of making decisions. Sorry If my post did insult you, after all I am not taking anything seriously against you , all kind of a joke ^.^. It's not like I am being sarcastic only just with you.
Anyways gz on the car

Re: After months of saving....
Yea, best idea would be to get a car that doesn't have expensive maintenance costs. Seeing that you're looking to get a truck, the cost of gas is going to eat your wallet, but it all comes down to what you prefer.
I'd put the money into my savings account for future use. (i.e putting a down payment on a house)

Re: After months of saving....
I am quite aware of the cost of gas don't worry haha. But it is definitely a better decision for my future instead of a car, in relation to my current needs. I do also have money I am saving towards a down payment on a house as well. The good thing is t truck would most likely be fully paid off and I wouldn't have to worry about dealing with financing or interest rates on payments.CM wrote:Yea, best idea would be to get a car that doesn't have expensive maintenance costs. Fords are definitely not in my choice for trucks to drive. As for the X5 being a chick car? I'd sadly have to disagree with you and say the X3 is a woman's vehicle.Jaycubb wrote:My mum has a BMW X5, its a fuckn chic's car dont get it lol. Get an F450

Re: After months of saving....
I'm not buying a BMW X5 anyways. I'll probably spend around 25000, then throw another 3-5 thousand towards new rims, new sound system, new suspension, etc.Tunechi wrote:Yes but you are boganJaycubb wrote:Yeh well, you can always go for a cheap $15000 beast , I recently bought a holden barina sedan, red, gonna put $3000 audio system in it :Dso car shakesConnorr wrote:Fords are definitely not in my choice for trucks to drive.
