lol I know how to add a video into camtasia but its this particular file (.MPG) that doesnt go in camtasia.

An mpg is an umbrella term.
The file can either be mpeg-1 or mpeg-2.
mpeg-2 is not supported in Camtasia, as stated in the article I linked.
So, you must convert it to another format...

I tried but my prism file converter trial expired but I got a way to do it so its all good lol.
