Cora dyce ideas.

Hello, 

To start things off I want to say that not all of these ideas are mine. So the credit doesn't go to me. Most are mine though. I'm just making this thread so all of these ideas get connected. Make sure to give your opinion to make these ideas even better!

The first thing is attracting new members. This will makes the following ideas more interesting. Well we need to attract new members.

1) We need active youtube channels. Most dice clan were build on a good youtube channel. So I suggest that some members/hosts make a cora community channel. I'm sure we can make daily videos on that. A few youtube giveaways isn't a bad thing  . Videos about dycing/skilling/events/dropparties/ funny teamspeak moments? / ... . Just send your clips to the owners of the channel. They will make the videos public. we can make community challanges and give pennies to the winner .

2) Signatures, well this is maybe one of the easiest methods of promoting cora dyce. All get your favourite cora dyce signature out and show them on different Rs related sites. A little prize for the winner?

3)Ingame advertissement, nothing to say about this really. We need daily dps with a mule to advert on. Xodz is doing a good job on this one. Keep going . Advertise for cora related events without mentioning cora dyce but only the forums.

4)Prepare a move to rs07 dicing. Not for now, hosts are lacking in eoc already. In eoc some timezones are not getting filled so first we have to solve the eoc hosting problem before taking on this new big challenge.

The second thing we have to do is making the forums/irc/youtube channel as attractive as possible for new and older members. We have to make sure they stay.

1. THE FORUM

I admire EVERY moderator on the forum. Yet The forums aren't really that great anymore. Many topics are standing without reply on the forum for a year. Why give people a ban for gravedigging? Just delete the topic. Idk but when I watch through the forums somethimes it looks kinda messy :s. That's not the best impression for new members to join. Love having more active topics instead of those inactive onces filling the forums. 
More non dicing related topics are required! If we making clan chat for community we need guides, blogs,...
The forum just needs some refreshing 
We can make some other games for 'dicing' on the forum. A weekly lottery with 500k/ticket with 3 prizes . The prize depends on how many tickets been bought. This should happen with NO commision. 


 2. CHANGES TO IRC

-Bring in hot/cold or 60x2. This will take the frustration away from betters who's wagers don't get called. recruit can take 5m max, corporal 10m max,...

More complicated Irc (High-score) system!
Why do people bet in the first place (IMO): 
To get attention from others, to get noticed and "popular" trough RS. Everyone loves the attention and to showoff their wealth. We need sophisticated high scores in our IRC in my opinion to make this effect bigger and keep betters with cora dyce (To keep betters, it's not really to attract them).
For instance
 IRC-Highscore will get monitored without someone having to register on the IRC Easy-to-make giveaway system in the irc. For instance: a host types "!giveaway 5m 2": First person to roll a 2 wins 5m, or like Dragon Dyce has: "!giveaway 5m 1-50", the IRC will create a random number between 1-50 and one of those numbers will let you win 5m. Something like that; IRC giveaways attract people to our irc aswell and they don't even have to cost a lot of money. 1m's are good enough.
Other high-scores in the irc like top10's of people with the biggest losingstreak/winningstreak/most gambled/most dice duels done ETC ETC

->Maybe some of you may wonder how all of these prizes/giveaways are sponsored. I'm  going to refer to the hosting rules quickly: 
. EACH HOST MUST DROP 2M MINIMUM EVERY DAY!!!
So basicly every host has to give 2m to the community every day. This should be collected in a big pot instead. Let's say there will be 25 hosts. 25 hosts x 14m/week = 350m/week. So that means we can give 350m a week to the community back. This can be done in giveaways/prizes/.... (youtube giveaways/forum giveaways/irc giveaways/dropparties). hosts can give more ofcourse  .



 Ideas/ opinions are all welcome. Pros/cons just say it . Still some ideas left but will add them later.

2. I like it but u might get banned for promoting gambling from the site
3. Cora Can TRY to become a multipurpose fc, not for just gambling so we can advert those part and hope others trickle in
4. Andy should allow 07 hosting with callers i mean its banned either way...

 No they have to pay fees and the 2m/day.  it's an other rule in the hosting rules.

Whenever someone gravedigs, usually i just delete their post.  Then the inactive topic isn't at the top anymore, and if people want to look at the old topics to reminisce, they can. 

I like your ideas, but in order for any of them to be implemented Andy would have to be actually semi-active, which he is not and doesn't seem to want to be.
