The Impossible (film)

Has anybody seen this? I saw it last night.

It's based on a true story about what happened to a family on holiday in 2004, Thailand. On boxing day the most powerful tsunami ever hit, killing 280,000.

It's pretty good, and it has a really big impact. What happens in it is exactly what happened to the family. I won't ruin what happens, so go watch it

Seen it, was a pretty good movie, though not something I'd watch again. Some of the stuff made me want to toss my cookies.

IMO it would be better if there wasn't a "happy ending", that would express the horrors of that day better. But still a very touching movie.

Oo cool.

But I still think it's alright. They still get that point across that many did die, and they were extremely lucky. It's shown when they leave on the plane and look out the window to all of the thousands still alone.

There was than just 1 family involved

Really want to see that film. I did the Boxing Day tsunami for a case study for my Geography unit 1 last year.

Saw it amazing shit, and even more amazing that it was a true story. Loved it
