The coding section is designed for, well, just that- coding. However, there are some exceptions and rules I want to ensure are clear to everyone. While we do have general guidelines for this section, if you ever are wondering if a topic is appropriate to post, you can check with this thread. Below are some examples of things that are acceptable topics, and more importantly, non-acceptable topics.
Acceptable topics:
- Code not running properly.
- IDE Questions.
- Non language specific questions, i.e., how would I approach rotating a matrix clockwise?
- Questions concerning computer specs, software problems, etc., are welcomed in the coding section.
- Homework HELP. I, as well as other members, are more than happy to help you on tricky parts of programming projects or homework. However, this isn't an online coding service where we complete your school work for you. Posting "How do I ensure my case statements work in my calculator program?" is fine. Asking "Can someone make a calculator for me?" is not. Help is fine. Having people do your work for you is not.
Non-acceptable Topics:
- Discussion of viruses or other malicious tools, such as, but not limited to, RATs, Keyloggers, Crypters, Booters, Stressers, etc.
- Any topics regarding the use of piracy.
- Discussion of Rs private server coding, sources, etc.
- Social Engineering methodology.
- Botting, both scripts and clients.
- Anything related to hacking.
Thank you for your cooperation.
