The actual rule on gambling:

"You must not advertise, organise, promote or take part in any unofficial player run games of chance where in game money or items are staked on the outcome of a random in game activity."

We stake money on the outcome of a roll in our IRC: Which is not an in game activity.

Re appeal saying that

So we've never broken the rule, but we've been banned for it. Wonderful lol. Honestly I'd love to get an answer if using something outside of the game is against the rules. Problem is, Jagex will never answer an e-mail lol.. I will be sending one right now though.

Since we do IRC OUT OF THE GAME we should go do wagers in middle of Lumbridge!

Lol good luck making them unban you because of this. They will most likely just change the rule to state what you said is wrong with it, because it's like you're trying some 'my constitutional rights' bullshit when they run the game and do what they want XD

They can't punish you based on what they see in IRC. Anyone can join IRC using the name "LetMeSkull" it doesn't necessarily mean that it's you. Whereas something you do on your Rs account can only be you.
