the amount of cap doesnt matter. each time the cap increases the speed of capping does to, so its the exact same thing as capping to norman 1000.

The amount of resources has increased but the speed at which resources can be gathered has also increased. 1000 resources in week 1 with resource plots at tier 1 (100% speed) takes the same amount of time as 2000 resources in week 23 with resource plots at tier 5 (200% speed).
