    Yeah made a video see if anyone has any explanation. There's nobody in sight to even hear me say ">>Cora Dyce<<" and yet I get an instant mute for it...

    I did exactly what you did but when i logged in i got this:

    But i can still talk and im not muted.....

    I remember Sanne saying something a while ago about not being able to say 'drop party' in public without getting muted.

    I guess you've been IP muted?
    (but that wouldn't make sense unless Jagex have been monitoring you Shocked )

    I believe if you say 'Best spammer = ...' you will get muted too now.

    Mmmmh. They add phrases to a system that mutes anyone who says it. If not everyone, they can do it to smaller groups like an account/IP.

    I don't think it's for saying 'Cora Dyce' as such, but rather, in a more advertising kind of way, like:

    [Cora Dyce]

    I guess the automute is to stop spambots which tend to include >>Cora Dyce<< in their text.

    I could be wrong, though, and even saying 'Cora Dyce' results in a mute, in which case, #$£% you Jagex.
