BRING BACK LUCKY SEVENS!!

In the past I used to play a game called "Lucky Sevens".

RULES -
1)Place your bet on a host
2)Go to the irc, and say !over (8-12), !under (1-6), or !seven (7)
3)If the rolled number is in the range of numbers you guessed, then the host pays out 2x your bet, if you get a 7 and guessed 7, you get 5x your bet

It is a very simple game, and it was very fun. I remember choosing it over dicing and playing on Candy or Taco and waiting for them to get on so I could play. In addition, many of the hosts like to bet themselves, but they have to put their wagers on other hosts so that they could bet, and then got 10% less because of the hosting fee. I think it would be a great idea to bring this back, and I hope it does come back!

I never played this game before since I joined in July, but it sounds pretty fun. However a lot of people say it's unfair because of the ridiculous x5 payout fee considering 7 is one of the most popular rolls in an unrigged IRC.

Betters get really mad that they lose their money too fast.
And its true, people lose money faster by sevens than any other game.

@ letmeskull - it was common to roll a 7, but most people didnt choose 7 because of the odds being better choosing over or under... it wasn't unfair in my opinion.

@ Z GP - it depends on how you play it... most people lose their money faster because they bet higher because of the odds and then lose eventually... in addition, i found that back when people did 55-60x2 dicing, people lost their gold or won it just as fast.

Over/Under as ive heard it called is a decent game. No way on x5 payout for 7. More like x2. I personally voted no, just bc of experiences ive had before as well as the fail factor of when we did it before.

However we need to look into putting in more games as eggs and flowers are going buh bye.

the x5 on seven is if you guess 7, and at that point every other number loses... x2 would be completely ridiculous. i do agree, though, that we need more games.

LOL... you are joking, right...?
The hosts are the some of the highest bidders!!! If you look up stats of the hosts, and they have wagered more than 90% of the other members... Also, it takes away the 10% commission. many of the betters hate it, and I am betting that if you asked any host if they would rather have no commission or 10%, they would agree because when they wager, they have to also put it on another host and lose 10% if they win.
