Promote more of egg wagers

Sme may disagree with me about this due to Cora being like primary dicing but I've seen xodz host it sometimes and I haven't really tried it more than 4 times but I see people enjoy it and brings more customers

not bad you just need a host with egg and ask

1 its longer
2 people get confused often
3 egg ring is hard to find to be convient for every host and thus not available to every hoster while irc is

Same what Pants said, and eggs/flowers/seals gonna be removed soon, so no point of invest to these games, but ofc u can just ask if host got eggs.

I agree that egg and flower poker need to be promoted more.Here are a few ideas I have:

I've seen Sanne do this with dicing, but offer incentive to betting or getting a certain result such as, first 3oak, or first to get a green pair wins 1m on a 1m+ pot?

Provide links to our stickied guides in irc using the following commands:
!Eggguide
!flowerguide
!rpsguide
and so on.


As far as hosting goes, I don't think hosts do enough to promote it. I know it isnt as popular as dicing, but with enough people and hosts participating, we can get more people interested.


Finally, hold some giveaways using eggs and flowers on forums. We could collect all players and have a host vid in game. Each player would have 1 egg/flower. Basically a multiway duel. Just a thought. Make it like a tournament

The problem with egging is that every host does not have access to an account with an egg ring as pants said. I don't see why cora dyce couldn't invest some time into obtaining a couple of accounts (yes i know, no RWT allowed) that newer hosts can share? That way everyone can egg duel. Besides the egging accounts keep no money :p so its not a big deal.

U havent read Rs home page and forums? They say there clearly they are gonna remove egg/seal/flowers soon, maybe next month

Hi

Just a few comments from me on some of the points you have raised:

Gambling. Flower Games

Yes, I did state that we were working on some content to deal with the "mobile gambling devices" (like flowers, eggs, seal emotes etc) that players use. And we are! There is clearly an appetite for high risk gameplay within Rs, and I want to ensure we are giving people safer alternatives when we remove things like the flower gambling from the game.

Please note that any alternative games we add will only involve ingame gold or items, not real world cash.

New Skills in 2013

We are already working on the first new skill. I am hoping that we will have it ingame before the summer. its going to be a "gathering" skill like fishing or mining.
