What is Haxball ranking?
The haxball ranking is where a player can be listed on a hi-score style system which they can work on by winning ranked matches.
How does it work?
If you wish to take part you will be added to the list with an initial rating of 500. This can change depending on how you perform in ranked game. In general winning will increase your rating whilst losing will decrease your rating. The style or manner in which you won/lost will also be taken into account when receiving/deducted points.

Ranked Games:
You can only request up to 3 ranked games per day. Any other match played after this does not have an effect on your rating or statistical data. When playing a ranked match an official Haxball moderator must be spectating in order to serve as a witness and ensure the match was played fairly and legitimately.
If you like to repeat a match with someone you can offer a rematch but you must switch to the other player’s hosting server. This means you can play up to 6 times in terms of ranked games if you have a rematch with everyone you encounter for the 3 games.
Game Rules:
The pitch size will always be set to: Classic
Game time length: 3 minutes
Overtime: No, once the match has reached 3 minutes the game is over
Players: 1 v 1 (only)
Ping rules: Change in rules: The host has to handicap himself with lag when playing his opponent. To do this you wait for your opponent's ping level to reach a steady level. Once that has settled you apply a handicap of half of the opponents ping.
To do this type: /handicap (Number)
Example: If opponents pin is 100 you apply to your self a handicap: /handicap 50
Side note: The Haxball moderator monitors the ping during games.
Point system: Here is a brief guide of how points are calculated.
Home game win: 10 points + ((2.5 points for every home goal) + (-3 points for every goal conceded))
Example: 10 + ((4 x 2.5) + (2 x -3)) = 14 points gained
Home loss: -20 points + ((2.5 points every home goal) + ( -3 points every goal conceded))
Away win: 20 points + ((3 points for every away goal scored) + (-2.5 points for every goal conceded))
Away lose: -10 points + ((3 points for every away goal scored) + (-2.5 points for every goal conceded))
Home Draw: 7.5 points + ((2.5 points every home goal) + ( -3 points every goal conceded))
Away Draw: 12.5 + ((2.5 points every home goal) + ( -3 points every goal conceded))
You can also gain/loss points from cup matches/league matches
The same method is used when applying the goal methods but the general points given/deducted in cup wins are as follows:
Cup:
Home win= 25 points
Home loss= 50 points
Away win = 50 points
Away lose= 20 points
Home draw= 12 points
Away draw= 17.5 points
Home loss= 50 points
Away win = 50 points
Away lose= 20 points
Home draw= 12 points
Away draw= 17.5 points
League Games
Home win= 20 points
Home loss= 30
Away win= 40
Away lose= 15
Home draw= 15 points
Away draw= 22 points
Home loss= 30
Away win= 40
Away lose= 15
Home draw= 15 points
Away draw= 22 points
Statistical Data
The statistics we can provide for players are:
Number of wins/draws/losses: Total, home, away games.
Win percentage: Home/Away
Win/loss streaks: Home/Away
Rankings: Overall rankings/rank by country
Highest scorer/conceded: Total/weekly/monthly/avg goal per game.
Clean-sheets: Total
Number of 5-0 wins: Home/away

We can also offer achievements sections such as: 100 games won etc. Gold star rating etc.
