    A Programming Sub-Forum... Please? Empty A Programming Sub-Forum... Please?

    Post by Allen's Slave 2012-11-05, 03:30

Could we please add this in? I feel like this is a big thing that Cora Dyce is missing out on. In reality, it's the same as graphics. There are experienced people, and people who want to learn about it. I feel this would again extend the reach of Cora Dyce beyond merely the gambling realm. And, let's face it- nerds are on Rs, and nerds like to program. I am a HUGE nerd, but I'm proud of it! Very Happy But seriously, it would take very little time to implement, and it would be a ton of fun to see it expand into something big. If nothing happens in it, take it down. But we should at least give it a chance. I would be more than happy to help moderate the section, look at source code, scan links, etc.

Please post feedback! I would love for this to happen!

PLEASE NOTE: I have a thread for this in the suggestions forum, but no one ever looks there!

Already commented and vouched for your idea! The only reason I made this is because it would be extremely easy and quick to implement, as it is only one sub-forum!

Yes, I have seen quite a few people request for this and I agree with them for the reason of obtaining some knowledge on this field. (I am interested in programming)

Sam, you forgot something! Remember that a single '=' is the assignment operator, whereas the double, or '==', is the comparison statement. No matter how many times you run the code, it's gonna say yes! Except it'll throw an error since also isn't a keyword Razz
