It's a normal day for me, Wake up, Eat do what ever i have to do.
Spare time: Log on Rs.
I was just logging on Rs today to get my spins in and all, And i notice, I'm wearing nothing. Nothing in my invy, Coin pouch 512gp. Hmm, Lets check the bank, Defence hood, Nothing else.
What could of happen?
Scanned my computer, Bam Keylogger.
Which i know where i got it from, The Fake Jagex email link that was sent to my email.
GF me.
This is the 2nd time I've ever been hacked. First time was in 2010. I was roughly a level 70 with like, 15m or something, so at that time it was hard to recover from.
This was the 2nd time. Level 129 combat, roughly 52m-60m in items/cash.
Alot of it was gambled away, But left with a defence Hood, and 512gp.

Not going to try to recover from that. Alot of that was earned legitly, and took alot of time.
all though im a level 129, My stats are horrible, Nothing really to good to make fast money back.

Alot of people get money pretty much just handed to them, And for the Legit Rs players, It just ruins everything.
All the bots, All the Gambling that is going on, Expectantly All the scamming. Does not make one thing easier.

I feel ya. It took me 5 years to make 40m and I never used any of it (if I did, I made sure I returned it before the day was over) and I was devastated when someone scammed all of that from me. Even though though there was botting, gambling, and scamming, I kept playing because I worked hard for it. I quit playing after that and came back briefly to experience gambling with Cora Dyce and left again when I realized I was getting addicted to gambling. If you are serious about leaving, then I wish you all the best with life stuff. Although, I think it will take you a while before you completely give up on your Rs account.

Fake Jagex Emails are sent sent to random email addresses, They have links you click on, which have keyloggers.
It was not that i was getting on random sites, It was me thinking Jagex actually sent me a email, and me clicking the link.
