    Getting sick of invisble items ?
    This is what you have to do in 4 steps. [works with every operating system]
    Step 1 click here:

    step 3 accept the settings on the 2 things :

    Now you got normal items and nothing invisble and if you stil got
    try clearing your Fagex cache, following the steps below, as per your Operating System:

    WINDOWS:

    Copy the directories below into the address bar of My Computer and delete the files:

    %HOMEDRIVE%\.jagex_cache_32
    %WINDIR%\.jagex_cache_32
    %USERPROFILE%\jagexcache\Rs\LIVE
    %USERPROFILE%\.jagex_cache_32

    MAC:

    1. Choose Users > [INSERT USER HERE] > Library > Caches.
    2. From the Menu bar, choose Edit > Select All.
    3. Drag all of the items to the Trash.
    4. From the Macintosh HD, choose Library > Caches.
    5. Choose Edit > Select All, and drag the items to the Trash. You’ll be required to type in an administrator’s pass.
    6. Restart your Mac.
    7. Once restarted, use spotlight to locate the folder .jagex_cache_32 on your computer and delete it.


    LINUX:

    1. Open the terminal
    2. Type in: rm -r ~/jagexcache

    No wonder I never see any invisible items. I turned that software thing awhile back and i didnt know what it did. So thats why nothing was ever invisible to me

    it switches back for me any time I turn my computer back on. I'm guessing that happens to other people too

    I had the same problem so I went to the Tech Support section of the official Rs forums. For some computers, it's best to use OpenGL mode due to the fact that the chip cards for some computers cannot handle DirectX display mode. Never use Software, you'll get a black screen when it gets to laggy, and as for safe mode...Well safe mode is the source to the problem with invisible items.
