Best Ore to train mining?

Title says it all...which ore is best to get my mining up from 80-85? I've been varying between iron and coal but neither are very good xp nor provide much cash...mithril and adamant seem in short supply so which is best to train my xp and gain reasonable profit?

I know both dont give alot of cash..but i will go for the ore that gives more xp. I dont remember the price atm of iron or coal, but i will choose the ones that give fastest xp because when you get to 85 mining you can mine runite ore and each ore is 10k

precisely...if I can get to runite then i'm sorted but it's taking forever....I have no clue which is better xp per hour though

I would suggest mining at the place by eastern Falador, under the house by the Party Room. Sorry I forgot what the name is. There is also a bank near by if you want to bank although I think it requires a Dungeoneering level of 20 if I'm not mistaken. Iron is the best for F2P though, runite is terrible unless you are looking to make profit.

Powermine iron if F2P or granite P2P. From my experience on a previous account you make around 400k/hr mining runite. It also depends on your combat level because there will likely be pkers hanging around the rocks. It takes a while but can be pretty profitable. Hope this helped.

Iron.. And Coal for Power Mining, Try Gold at a Higher level too, start Runite around 90

I can mine runite it was pretty good money until bots came back again! I recommend mining coal iron and gold. When you get bored of one go to the other it takes forever but until bots are gone again runite is terrible money just a warning!
