Imposters.

Feel free to always ask in the friends chat if it's the host you're trading to prevent being scammed by an imposter.
Add hosts to your friends list and turn trade on 'Friends' so it wont show the imposter trading you.
Just please be aware of them, they're generally around, standing beneath the real host.
Always announce an imposter in the friends chat if you spot one, it really does help.
If you want, name imposters that you know below so it may prevent viewers here from being scammed, thanks.

I just realize that a host isn't going to trade me unless I just won a bet. If they just randomly trade you, it's an imposter 99% of the time. If you understand this, then just make sure you send trade offers to the real host and you can never get scammed

I've seen many imposters of hosts, once even i got an imposter suggesting to scam hosts...

He got many people, thats why i decided to make this to get people more aware of actually trading the correct host instead of imposters.

ughhhh i hate 3 letter names...i get confused all over again as to who is who....

The biggest imposter is Lobby Pl0x's imposter. The names look almost identical with the only difference being the combat level. I've heard of at least one person getting confused by this and losing money.

im just getting more into dicing. So what exactly is an imposter and how do I ensure that i dont accidentally trade one?

An imposter is a person who creates a Rs account with a name almost exactly like one of the ranked hosts. like Paradyce might have an imposter named "Paredyce" or something like that to try and trick you into thinking that is the actual Paradyce and get you to place your wager on them. To prevent trading an imposter, I add all the hosts to my friends list so they appear green if they have private on and if not I check their cb lvl. when i am still not 100% sure that the person I am trading with is the host, i ask in the fc to make sure, like kyru says in this topic.

I don't keep usually keep trade on "friends" but i think I will from now on.
