Video Editing & Youtube

When I tried to make a vid, it was over 10 minutes long, so knowing Youtube I went and edited in Windows Movie Maker to make it shorter, but for some reason Youtube didn't accept the .WMM that Movie Maker has, and I couldn't save it as any other.

So I have two questions, you can answer any or both:

1. What video editing software that is FREE can be downloaded that works with Youtube?

2. What is the best other video sharing website like Youtube that takes unlimited minutes, or atleast 20+, of videos?

You could just try a conversion tool such as HandBrake from .wmm to .avi or .mp4, unless i'm mistaken about the question

Can someone still answer my question about the video editing software though? I'd like to edit stuff, always did.

it may be complicated but Sony Vegas. Simply look up how to get it for free. Its not too hard although sony vegas is hard to master.

I had that a while back and it was complicated as hell. I'm down to try it again though, if it helps me learn.

Sony vegas definately to edit clips, for the text effects etc. Adobe After Effects is definately one of the best.
I dont know to much about AAE but if you have questions about Sony Vegas I sure as hell willing to help you :p
