    So I had no idea until today that people actually consider me a jerk/douche/dick, etc, until today.  (Just mean in general)

    It's because you can't take your job seriously and you let other jerk people jerk around. You could ban them instead of arguing with them. I remember how one of people told not long ago: People and ranks used to be sceared to tell something bad or to swear to other. But now I can just admin, that you are doing your job bad.
