I've taken a loan of many people and I take them VERY seriously. I make sure that I can pay them back at least. No matter how small or big. I've taken loans over 100m, so yes.

The logic that 'people make fun of me in a clan; therefore, I don't need to pay back those who were nice enough to actually lend me money'. There's no fucking excuse to scam - in any given circumstance. And whenever some loans me THEIR money, I treat it exactly like that - THEIR money, and even if that individual was as autistic as you, I'd reimburse them everything they were generous enough to lend me.

Even hosts are publicly voicing that they're glad he's gone. If everyone stopped and actually tried to encourage him to pay back, he most likely would. I know him. He's not a bad guy. He just made a bad decision because he's vulnerable.

I'm using this logic because the almost exact same thing happened to Veny, except he took x10 longer and his debt was x10 smaller. Am I wrong to assume that this happened with Jaycubb as well? Tell me I'm wrong (speaking rhetorically because I know you would say that).

Okay LMS. I'm not wrong to assume you want your money back - and I'm probably not wrong to assume that it would be advantageous in your position to defend Jaycubb so you can get your money back. But the thing is, there's no viable incentive that exists for him to pay back. If he does pay back, he's not going to get re-ranked, and everything is going to be different because he had that slip-up. And no, this isn't the same thing that happened to Veny - Veny's mistake was a debt, Jaycubb deliberately mislead other people by scamming them.

If you legitimately believe that scamming is justified under certain pretenses, I don't want you to even be considered to be a host (not that you already were).

Ah, what a relief. Thanks for having a genuine reply. Yeah I don't think scamming is ever right, but I understand why he did it. Keeping this in mind, I tried to persuade him to pay back. We actually knew that he wouldn't be reranked, but at least his name would be cleared (I left that out).
