Why now???
For those who don't know, Steven Stamkos is the NHL leader in Scoring, and at 23 years of age, is already considered to be a better goal scorer than Sidney Crosby, so basically he is the best goal scorer in modern hockey.
He was injured during a game vs.the Boston Bruins where he was pushed into the goalie's net and his right leg folds under the goalies post. He broke his right tibia, and will most likely not make it back in time for the Winter Olympics in Sochi.
