maybe you injured your lip before and when the smoke met with the wound, u felt that burning, or since you didn't smoke in a year, or or orrr you will die.

OT: if you quit for over a year it could just be your body not being used to the cigarettes. I would suggest seeing a doctor though. He will obviously suggest you quit smokin which would be good for you in the long run. It shouldn't be anything too serious
