Naive = Someone that believes pretty much anything they're told without even thinking whether it's true.

Yeah, they're similar but do have a distinct difference. Gullible means you believe anything and everything, but naif/naive denotes a simplicity that comes with lack of experience, and, as a result of this, you're more inclined to believe only the surface of things. Gullible is when you're persuaded easily while naive is when the person is ignorant believing anything he/she hears.

Here is an amazing example for Naive: A Rs noob is encountered with a level 200 saying "Doubling $." The noob gives him 10K and is legitimately doubled. The noob then is controlled by the level 200, when he asks him if he would like his bank doubled (100K). The noob naively gives him his bank and is scammed.
