Problems With Java [@ Mistro Help Please] Empty Problems With Java [@ Mistro Help Please]

    Post by Jaycubb 2013-05-07, 18:31

So Java hasn't been working for me lately, Btw Im on Mac OS X Lion 10.7.3
I have downloaded the latest Java Update, I have completely deleted Java and re-installed about 3 times, Each time all java application that I try to open say that Java can not be detected. The Java website has a test thing which I tried:

    http://www.java.com/en/download/testjava.jsp

"If you cannot see your machine info listed above, please check these additional configurations:

» Enable Java through your Web browser
» Clear Oracle Java Cache on Mac OS X
» Restore Java 6 after uninstalling Java on Mac OS X
    » System Requirements"

I Tried doing the above, I enabled Java through my web browser (Safari on mac)
I tried clearing my Oracle Java Cache, When I followed the steps it told me to do, when I clicked ok to delete the cache, the last step which was the applications window opening up and asking for permission did not happen.
I tried Restoring Java 6 after uninstally Java on Mac Os X
I have the System requirements because Java has worked before.

    Suggestions.. Help?

Java has been acting up a LOT lately, so you're not alone.

Sadly, I'm running on Windows, but I'll do everything I can to help you out buddy. Give me a little bit to research. Smile

Ok I had this problem too. Though im on windows, flow with me.
There are these things called cookies. Clear ur browser completely because these tend to make it seem that though U have java, the system cannot detect it.

That worked on windows and if it didn't for U, disable firewall and crasher settings when U download and set it to admin access + requirement.
When we use an LSC coder in Microsoft (dad works as head of Asia), some programs and firewalls tend to block it from running because they think its not a verified publisher.

Hope this helps.if not I can ask a friend who works in sun Microsystems.
