RULES OF MAFIA GAME:

First rule: You do not talk about Mafia Game.
Second rule: You do NOT talk about Mafia Game!
Seventh rule: Mafia Game will go on as long as it has to.

BASICS:

• 9 innocent townspeople:

If you are given this identity, you do NOT know who your fellow townspeople are. The only information you will receive is from me on this post as to who was killed during the night, who was lynched during the day, and (if applicable) who was saved by the angel / killed by the demon.

Your role is to single out who is innocent and who is a member of the mafia. Every day, before 3 PM GMT-5, you must send me a PM containing the name of a player who you believe to be a mafia member, and how they are going to be killed by the townspeople. You may abstain from voting if you don't want to put an innocent man to death.

• 4 mafia scumbags:

If you are given this identity, you DO know who your fellow mafia members are. You are free to communicate amongst yourselves secretly in any way you wish.

Your role is to come to an agreement and send me a PM containing the name of the townsperson who is going to be slaughtered during the night by 3 AM GMT-5.

• 1 angelic angel:

All duties of the townspeople apply to you (voting for the lynching, etc.). You may also send me a PM by 3 AM GMT-5 containing the name of a random member playing who you believe the mafia is going to target that night. If you are correct, the person is saved and the name of the innocent person will be known to all.

• and 1 demonic demon:

All duties of the townspeople apply to you (voting for the lynching, etc.). You may also send me a PM by 3 AM GMT-5 containing the name of a random member playing who you believe is part of the mafia (and how you are going to kill them). If you are correct, the mafia member is found dead the next morning along with their target.

-After signing up, I will add you to the list of fifteen players and designate you to a group using random.org

Day 1 (10/31/12):

• Day: The game begins!

• Night: The 4 cunning mafia members were attempting to rob a jewelry store around midnight. Everything appeared to be going smoothly until one of the members tripped the alarm, thus informing the police of their presence. The Mafia decided to raid whatever they could: The bank vault, safety deposit boxes, and even Paradyce's virginity. With an estimated $4 million of stolen goods, they quickly ran to their getaway vehicle for a speedy escape.

The police were in pursuit, tailing the car all the way. One of the members booted the back door of the van open and unleashed a mini-gun assault on several Police cars. Another member fired an RPG which took out the helicopter hence destroying any airborne support. Only one policeman remained in the chase, but stood no chance against the goons.

One brave citizen tried to block the armed bandits with her car, but to her dismay, the mafia only sped up the chase and flipped the smart car over the freeway and into the river below. Airbags did not deploy. Emergency medical crew responded to the scene within minutes. The car was quickly identified to have been owned by none other than Julia. She was rushed to the emergency room after being pronounced dead for 42 minutes, but it seems an angel saved her, so the next morning she walked out of the hospital fully recovered. The townspeople now know Julia is not in the mafia!

Day 2 (11/1/12):

• Day: Earlier this morning, an angry mob of townspeople assembled in secrecy and voted on who would be killed. 7/9 people in the group were convinced James was a part of the mafia. This afternoon, the mob stormed into James' house and led him to the center of town. They branded what appeared to be an American flag on the back of his lower torso, or what some may call a 'tramp stamp'. Before he was disemboweled*, his last words were that he wishes he could have been a true American and that England is the 2nd worst country in the world (behind Mexico). After his lengthy torture (7 hours to be exact), the mob searched his house, only to find evidence that he was innocent from the start. No one felt remorse.
