I'm going for a chaotic and want thoughts on which one you guys think looks the best. It's pretty much between the rapier and staff at this point.

I have rapier and maul, and it depends on what your going to do tho. maul=pvp, rapier/long=pvm. but i prefer rapier because its fast and easy training.
staff=mage hybriding basically thats it. :p

I agree. That extra game tick for the CLS to hit versus the rapier irritates me.
.6 seconds make all the difference.

I wouldn't want to pk with chaotic stuff anyway, so I picked the rapier when i got the tokens for it. I don't know how good the staff and crossbow are though.

Rapier by far. Rapier is good for pvp and pvm and is cheap to recharge. Pking with cmaul = killing yourself with veng.

Use the rapier to rape your opponents. Or use the maul to maul your opponents. Your choice.

It really depends on your preference.
The rapier is good for a few monsters while PvM'ing, and is good for PvP.
The Longsword is good for most PvM'ing because of the crush bonuses, but it is too slow for PKing.
Because of how slow the maul is and the fact that it is a two-handed weapon, it is NOT ideal for PvM. I have only seen the maul being used for PvP.
The crossbow is good for range tanks (obviously).
The staff is obviously good for magic, HOWEVER, the attack/strength bonuses are decent enough to be a good weapon for Obby Maul pures for a ONE ATTACK weapon.
The Chaotic Kiteshield isn't used very often. However, it is commonly used for shield-on stakes because of the very high defense bonuses.
