Grand Exchange? That was not a bad update at all.. You would never be able to buy anything without it. People would just hoard necessity items and charge a shit ton.

Just think back, when it was an adventure going to trying to buy your rune, but now you write "rune" and it comes up, a bit pointless, it says the greatest adventure? no not really sitting in a gran exchange when you could be out running to places gettinf your rune items

worst update was in my opinion removal of wildy/free trade. it was necessary back then (botting was so much worse then than it is now) but I hated them for it.

Id say the thought of the combat update

s.o.f is basically rwt for xp, you get alot of xp lamps and you can buy 400 spins, you might aswell bot...
G.E stop the "adventure" i understand with rares and shit like that but i don't think they should be putting rune on there, back in 2006 you had to go out and fight for your armour and weapons, but now all it is, is go to g.e write "rune" and you got it, pretty pointless adventure i.m.o

I'd have to agree with this.. I mean I've been playing this game for close to 7 years and it's changed so much since my first day that it's really not as fun anymore. This month we bring you the latest in styles and fashions to go with a whole host of updated skill animation and emotes only available through Solomon's store.
We will also promise to bring our F2P community their own graphically updated wheel with even more chances to earn rare and powerful weapons when the update comes. But remember, you have to be a subscriber in order to claim items.
Folks remember that this month will be your last chance to participate in the Gilenor Games as we will be removing it in the next few weeks. Enjoy it now as future holiday events will be available through special access vouchers only found at Solomon's store.
And folks, don't think we have forgotten about the bots that plague your gaming. We will threaten to implement our huge planned bot removal system on them. But while we promise to work on it, we cannot give everyone a date to when it will actually be launched.
Solomon's store and SoF will be receiving a few tweaks to the color palette.
Also in store this month is a change to the RS Forums section. From now on your favorite RS characters will post for you. Players will no longer have to worry about seeing the many random and duplicate threads created by so many different users. With a clean and streamlined system, your RS Pals like Party Pete and the Wise Old man will gladly comment for you on the latest RS Updates.
For those of you who have posts up will have no need to worry. They will post regularly in all forums giving tips and advice on quests and tasks, telling stories of their own adventures, and even voicing their own feelings on the quality of recent and upcoming Fagex content. So in no time, those old threads of yours will be whisked off to Chewey and you can sit back and read the various updates from your new friends on the forums.
We will also be releasing a few minor updates to SoF to reintroduce items we planned to remove.
In other news, for those questers out there who have been waiting impatiently for years, we plan to wrap up all of our current story lines into 1 epic quest!
Yes, this one quest will be grandmaster level and require completing all current in game quests.
We won't give out any spoilers, but we feel this quest will test the limits of your wits.
One perk of finishing the story lines is that it will free up our developers and other teams to bring you more of the content you love!
Soon, we will begin work on a 20 part quest series tied to your new favorite characters: Yelps and Solomon.
We can't give out too much now, but we do promise the series will give more into their background and give you chances to earn even more tickets for SoF. Our Developers do suggest your brush up on your wheel spinning and window shopping skills.
Speaking of skills, we will soon be releasing two new skills to go along with the quests.
Spinning and Merchanting.
Gain XP in Spinning by spinning the SoF Wheel. Gain 10 XP for each common item, 25 XP for each semi-rare item, and 50 XP for each Rare and Super Rare Item.
The new Merchanting Skill can be raised whenever you purchase items from Solomon's Shop. Items that will boost XP in Merchanting are planned for release later in 2013.
