Does Boxing in the Duel Arena come down to luck?
This has been a question I've been pondering.

People say its pure luck.
But if "Staker X" has 100 combat,but some of his/her combat levels are contributed from Mage, Prayer and Archery.
And "Staker Y" has 100 combat,but all of his combat levels are contributed from Strength,Attack and Defence.

Won't "Staker Y" clearly have an upper hand vs "Staker X" since Mage,Prayer and Archery do not come into play when boxing?


What are the factors that come into play when boxing?

There is also things like PiD and stuff. But in terms of your Staker X and Staker Y analogy, That's the reason people usually on box against Maxed accounts.

and people usually check their opponent's stats before they duel them. so that stuff doesn't even come into play.

boxing is pure luck because the hits are random from 1hp to ur max. it's like dicing where the number is random.

On maxed accounts it comes down to pure luck.

There is indeed some factor of skill in staking. PId does make a difference, but only if the fight comes down to the last hit. There is also the different attack styles. Attack style flicking DOES actually make a difference, it's just that the advantage it gives you is close to nothing. So technically there is a little bit of skill to it, but in reality, the difference it makes generally won't change the outcome of the stake.
