Yeah they have. The prices keep dropping to half then going back up and dropping. Its great for making money off of them

I'm pretty sure Double XP has a role in this but I mean the price changes are crazy atm!

People don't buy things for double exp weekend they day before...
They buy everything early when the prices are lower, and they sell their items to get it, hence the effect.
That's why Fagex changed the price of AGS manually, so that merchants couldn't get too big a profit.

The huge changes in rs have all contributed. Some people think bots are back, some know about the second nuke coming. People sold items for mats in the double xp weekend and the volume of flippers now days is near matching the demand for some items in general.
It has created this economical frenzy in the market and as its rs there is no opportunity cost to consider so people are buying and selling however they think is best to profit from the market without much knowledge what so ever.
Also for ags, they are becoming quite useless. PvM teams never use them now, it's always bgs. There are many new weapons and pkers are the only people using them and even then that demand has dropped due to the ease of getting a chaotic maul now. Plus the growing number of them added to the game day in day out.

Its too bad the economy is getting fucked. I really enjoyed stable prices til this year lol. And yeah ik, I was just giving an example for the AGS.

Lol the economy in this game hasnt been stable since they releaaed the ge. The ge fucked up prices and ruins peoples banks now cus they panic sell :p
