    When I reboot the computer, it fails


    It says Boot failed! Press any key to enter command line.



    I have no idea what's happening

    I have windows 7

    This is one of those things where I wish I was there lol. Ill look into it.

    What happened right before this started happening? Did you install new hardware or anything like that?

    nah, but he didn't turn off the computer the usual way, he just pressed the button.

    What kind of computer?
    Although this varies based on computer - you could try pressing f8 as it starts up [sometimes f7, etc]. This should allow you to choose to boot safe mode. Let me know if you get to this option b4 reading the error

    enter this in command line bootrec.exe /FixMbr 
    if tht doesnt help type this bootrec.exe /FixBoot
